What is a Cardiovascular Disease?
Blood disorders are conditions that affect one or more parts of the blood — such as red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, or plasma — and disturb their normal function. Blood is responsible for carrying oxygen, fighting infections, controlling bleeding, and transporting nutrients throughout the body. When any of these components are affected, it can lead to a wide range of health problems.
Common examples of blood disorders include:
- Anemia — a low level of healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin, leading to fatigue and weakness.
- Thalassemia — an inherited disorder where the body makes an abnormal form of hemoglobin.
- Hemophilia — a condition where the blood does not clot properly, causing excessive bleeding.
- Leukopenia / Thrombocytopenia — low white blood cell or platelet counts.
- Clotting disorders — where blood clots form too easily or not enough.
Depending on the type, blood disorders may be inherited (genetic) or acquired due to infections, nutritional deficiencies, autoimmune conditions, or other underlying causes.
How Homeopathic Treatment Works?
Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine developed in the late 18th century by Samuel Hahnemann. It is based on two key principles:
1. “Like Cures Like” (Similia Similibus Curentur)
This means a substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can be used in very small amounts to help address similar symptoms in a person who is unwell.
Example: A substance that might cause fatigue or bleeding tendencies in a healthy person could, in a highly diluted homeopathic form, be selected for a patient showing a similar overall symptom picture.
2. Potentization (Extreme Dilution and Succussion)
Homeopathic remedies are prepared through a process of serial dilution (often to the point where little or none of the original substance remains) combined with vigorous shaking (succussion).
This process is believed by homeopaths to “activate” the intended properties of the substance while removing toxicity.
How It Is Thought to Work (According to Homeopathy)
Homeopathy aims to support the whole person, not just the disease. It takes into account mental, emotional, and physical symptoms.
Remedies are chosen based on a patient’s overall symptom profile, and are highly individualized.
The ultra-diluted remedy is thought to gently stimulate the body’s “vital force” or natural healing response, which homeopaths believe may help support overall well-being.
